I think we did it...

After seeing Control Room (short review forthcoming), Josh and I spent 2 hours finalizing the Constitution. The final draft, which is being reviewed by Very Smart People (tm), can be found at:

Section 10 E doesn't seem to refer back to section 8. I think the 8 is supposed to be 9 B/C.

What do you think of making 11 A open to all members, active or not, but keeping C open only to active members?

It still looks good to me, though.

It would probably be better if a member who has attended a couple of meetings tables a constitutional ammendment. As I mentioned previously, the constitution is not something to be tinkered with on a whim. This doesn't preclude a non-active member from suggesting a constitutional ammendment, he/she would just need an active member to table it for them. So if a new person comes in and points out a major loophole, an active member can simply bring forward the ammendment instead.
