St. Patrick's Day 2005 (or the night I got elected)
Thursday was busy day for me. Let me quickly recap.
I am now the Vice-President External of the MacDebate Society. I ran completely unopposed (as did every other candidate), and take my place on an executive with only one new face. This year has arguably been a down year for our club. Hopefully the new executive can work together and move our club forward. Congrats to all!!!
After the meeting our outgoing President, and new CAO, Nihal threw a large St. Patrick's Day house party. Having been stressed out finishing 3 papers this week, I took the opportunity to socialize and get very very drunk. Needless to say, it was an interesting evening. The only thing I want to say is that, Mike Pass is IS NOT a racist.
I also sent out my DDT cheque. Who wants to be my partner???
My summer plans are coming together. I'll be taking a summer course or two during May-June, and I'll be doing workcamps in Japan during July/August. It might be the last time in a long while I'll be spending a lot of time in Japan, so I intend to make the most of it. I'll post my workcamp choice(s) once I get my confirmations (don't want to jinx it).
